marcella series two | what to watch?

Marcella Series Two | ITV1 | Mondays at 9pm

Over the past eight weeks my Monday nights have been filled with child murders, psychotic episodes and overall very high tensions- all thanks to this brilliant series featured on ITV. The second series has topped the first with the serial killings of attempted labotomised children being the focus of the detective drama, alongside the focus of Detective Sergeant Marcella Backland, whose blackout episodes prove increasingly disturbing as therapy sessions reveal what actually happens during these, after seeing in the first series that she was unsure if she had killed her husband's secret lover. I won't reveal too much more in case anyone wants to watch it but I would highly recommend this series if you love a high tension, and slightly confusing detective drama to become engulfed in.
