I was unsure of this series at first, but I am literally obsessed now. Following the Defoe family whose older sister has left the family firm, the divorce lawyers find their own family secrets begin to unravel. Their estranged father returns causing mass upset, as well causing the upheaval in the three Defoe daughter's disbelief in marriage. The cracks in Hannah's marriage are revealed, and Nina manages to highlight how her younger sister, Rose, may be marrying the wrong man, whilst she herself was endeavouring in multiple one night stands.
